Steve Lotz
In 1986, Steve began working in the home remodeling business. He worked on kitchens and baths – including rough carpentry, cabinetry installation, fixtures, and painting. It was during this time that Steve learned how an environment works, and how it all relates to a system in a home or commercial building. His training and interest grew, and he went on to positions as Crew Chief and was promoted to Service Manager. Over years of in-the-field experience, he became an owner/operator in a ServPro franchise where he grew the territory. His experience included managing losses for fire, flood, and mold remediation.
From 2018 to 2020 Steve partnered with CSI in the New York market. With a growing need to handle more complex claim losses he developed a training program to prepare field operations to effectively deal with a wider range of insurance claims. Additionally, he staffed the in-house evaluation team. This made handling claims seamless within the company and resulted in faster and more accurate results.
He built and maintained good relations with insurance adjusters, agents, and referral sources. Steve gained a first-hand understanding of the position of people facing losses, under stress, and how to be effective in handling outcomes that were supportive and prompt. Steve was also involved in performing flood restoration in Long Island due to Hurricane Sandy.
Today with his contacts, expertise, and team, he brings true productivity and accuracy to insurance adjusters and all their projects requiring resolution with superb reporting detail.
